Illustrative design for a hamlet outside of Fitchburg, Wisconsin - designed in collaboration with PlaceMakers, LLC in 2010. The rural hamlet remains one of the most underutilized development models, IMO.

    Lovely drawing. Have you read Henry Glassie's book Vernacular Architecture that discusses the open field village?
